Key Responsibilities Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Integration Specialist to join our global operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes across multiple business applications including SAP, Salesforce, Magic, Medea, FAME, and other legacy systems. This role also requires handling day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and participating in upgrades and process improvements.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  1. Developing and enhancing Informatica mappings, workflows, and sessions.
  2. Performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources such as flat files, Oracle DB, Salesforce, SAP (RFC/BAPI/OS integration), and others.
  3. Executing file validation scripts, encryption/decryption, file creation, and secure transfers.
  4. Supporting month-end activities, ensuring timely data loads and reconciliations.
  5. Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL job failures, system performance, and process bottlenecks.
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support inflight projects.
  7. Providing operational support for daily feeds across multiple geographies.
  8. Participating in Informatica upgrade projects, service restarts, and automation initiatives.
  9. Handling support tickets, ensuring SLA compliance and timely resolution.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  1. 3–7 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter / IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).
  2. Strong expertise in ETL design, development, and performance tuning.
  3. Hands-on experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and file-based systems.
  4. Familiarity with file encryption/decryption tools and secure data transfer protocols.
  5. Experience handling large-scale data (300GB DB, 350–400 files daily, 300+ interfaces).
  6. Strong troubleshooting skills for job failures, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  7. Exposure to automation of validation processes, service restarts, and operational scripts.
  8. Experience working in multi-shift support models (APAC, IST, UK) and global team environments.
  9. Good understanding of data quality, cleansing, and transformation best practices.

Preferred Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are highly desirable:

  1. Experience with Informatica upgrades and migration projects.
  2. Familiarity with legacy systems (e.g., FAME, MAGIC, Medea).
  3. Knowledge of cloud integration (IICS, API integrations).
  4. Strong communication skills to coordinate with business/IT teams across regions.

Work Model & Shift Coverage

The successful candidate must be willing to work in shifts (APAC, IST, UK) to support global operations and provide on-call support during critical activities.
