We are seeking an accomplished academic leader to spearhead our Department of Anatomy, driving innovation and excellence in teaching, research, and clinical skills training.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, supervising research activities, and contributing to curriculum development. They will ensure academic standards align with the Medical Council of India (NMC) and institutional regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences students.
- Guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
- Develop innovative teaching methodologies, including digital anatomy, simulation-based training, and cadaveric dissection.
- Design and update the Anatomy curriculum as per NMC guidelines.
- Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
- Publish research papers in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Organize academic events, such as CMEs, workshops, conferences, and webinars.
Clinical Skills & Simulation:
The selected candidate will oversee Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab (if applicable) and integrate anatomical knowledge with clinical case discussions and surgical correlations. They will promote cadaveric skill training for surgeons and postgraduate students.
Requirements:
- At least 8+ years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC / MCI norms.
- Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
- Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies is preferred.
- Commitment to academic excellence, student development, and ethical practices.
- Collaborative mindset for interdepartmental teaching and research.
