As a seasoned Head of Product & Buying, you will spearhead our design vision and buying strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with our community's needs. This pivotal role demands creativity, commercial acumen, and speed to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team to develop seasonal collections that embody our brand identity and resonate with consumers.
  • Translate consumer insights, global trends, and brand strategy into compelling product lines.
  • Pioneer innovation in fabrics, silhouettes, and functionality for athleisure and lifestyle segments.
  • Oversee sampling, prototyping, and quality benchmarking to drive excellence.
  • Define assortment strategies across categories, price points, and channels (D2C, marketplace, retail).
  • Forge strong supplier/vendor partnerships for fabrics, trims, and finished goods.
  • Negotiate costs, MOQs, and timelines to optimize margins and speed.
  • Maintain balanced inventory: fast movers, core basics, and newness.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure design and buying plans meet growth and profitability targets.
  • Drive calendar discipline, ensuring timely launches and refreshes.
  • Analyze sales & performance data to refine designs and buying decisions.
  • Mentor and build a high-performing team of designers and buyers.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, agility, and accountability.

Requirements:

  1. ~10 years of experience in D2C fashion design, buying, or merchandising—athleisure/activewear experience in men's and women's wear.
  2. Strong eye for fashion trends, consumer behavior, and product innovation.
  3. Proven ability to balance design aesthetics with commercial outcomes.
  4. Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
  5. Leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  6. Degree in Fashion Design/Merchandising/Business or related field.
