Lead Instructor in Game Design and Animation

We are seeking a visionary educator to spearhead our B.Des. Game Design & Animation program.

The ideal candidate will bring strong academic and professional expertise in game development, animation, and interactive media, with demonstrated proficiency in both visual storytelling and technical skills including programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development and Teaching: Develop and teach core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming.
  • Mentorship: Mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships.
  • Course Content Integration: Integrate programming modules into course content.
  • Event Organization: Organize game jams, showcases, and co-curricular industry events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Programming Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript.
  • Game Engines and Tools: Experience with game engines and tools: Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender.
  • Animation and Storytelling: Understanding of animation workflows, storytelling, and level design.
  • Gameplay Mechanics and UI/UX: Strong knowledge of gameplay mechanics, UI/UX for games, and interactive media.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work.
