About our school

Established in 1981 and affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, St. John's English School and Junior College caters to students from ages 2 to 18, from Pre-KG to XII, with over 2200 students and a faculty of more than 130 staff.

Educational Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Wellness Counselling and a Bachelor's degree in Education for the position of Wellness Counselling SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher).

Required Skills

We are seeking a qualified Wellness Counselling Teacher who will be responsible for:

  • Teaching classes from I to VIII
  • Formulating question papers for exams
  • Preparing worksheets and notes for lessons
  • Developing detailed teaching notes
  • Providing proper follow-up for students needing additional support
  • Maintaining registers in accordance with school norms

Apart from regular responsibilities, we encourage our teachers to participate in various extracurricular activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills among our students.

This role requires someone who can create an engaging learning environment, inspire students to learn and grow, and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
