Job Title: Solutions Engineering Professional

Solutions engineering professionals play a pivotal role in developing engineered solutions to respond to requests for quotation and proposals across various industries and geographies. They work closely with the solutions team to gather accurate information, design solutions, and recommend approaches to meet customer needs.

The key responsibilities of a solutions engineering professional include:

  • Gathering accurate information and performing detailed solution design to define requirements and recommend approach
  • Identifying facility design requirements based on activity levels, product dimensional profiles, product flow, and transportation methods
  • Determining startup and ongoing personnel requirements based on work tasks, identifying management and supervisory staffing requirements based on technical specifications of work
  • Developing layouts to support proposed solutions
  • Creating value-added approaches to supply chain challenges by employing data analysis, innovation, and automation
  • Delivering qualitative and quantitative value through detailed analysis for customers
  • Coordinating with real estate consultants for facility scouting, coordinating with transporters and custom agents, and coordinating with vendors for procuring rates

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, transportation, or manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of professional experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • SQL experience is a plus
