Job Title: MSBI Developer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced MSBI Developer to spearhead the development of our data solutions platform. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SQL Server technologies, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS, and have a proven track record of handling large volumes of data in a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ETL Development (SSIS)

Design, develop, and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.

2. Data Analysis and Reporting (SSAS)

Create and manage OLAP cubes, dimensions, and measures using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). Develop and optimize data models and perform advanced data analysis.

3. Reporting (SSRS)

Design, develop, and deploy interactive and tabular reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Ensure reports meet business requirements and provide actionable insights.

4. Complex SQL Queries

Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures in the MS SQL Server environment to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs.

5. Database Management

Oversee database performance, optimization, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other teams to ensure data integrity and reliability.

6. Data Handling

Manage and process large volumes of data efficiently. Implement best practices for handling and querying large datasets.

7. Documentation

Create comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data models, reports, and other related activities. Maintain up-to-date documentation to support ongoing development and troubleshooting.

8. Collaboration

Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.

Experience:

Relevant experience as a SQL Server DBA / Data Engineer in a large enterprise environment. Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Experience in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures within an MS SQL Server environment.

Desirable Skills:

Proven experience working with large volumes of data and implementing solutions for managing and querying large datasets. Strong proficiency in SQL query writing, optimization, and stored procedure development. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex data-related issues. Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering accurate and reliable data solutions.
