Senior Cybersecurity Manager Role

This role is designed for a seasoned professional to lead our cybersecurity team in strategic planning and execution. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and implementation of security assessments, testing, and reporting across various systems and applications.

The position involves hands-on technical expertise as well as leadership responsibilities, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to drive business goals forward through risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive security plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Mentor and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, guiding their technical growth and reviewing project deliverables.
  • Define and enforce best practices for vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, staying up-to-date on industry trends and threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective remediation of identified vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Prioritize testing efforts through threat modeling and risk assessments, focusing on high-severity issues.
  • Communicate complex security findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to VAPT.
  • Expert knowledge of security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, and other industry-standard software.
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, mobile apps, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and MITRE ATT&CK framework principles.
  • Industry certifications like OSCP, OSWE, CEH, GWAPT, GPEN, or CISSP are highly valued.
  • Superior communication, reporting, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing or mentoring VAPT teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and audits (e.g., GDPR, RBI, ISO).
  • Cloud security experience, particularly with AWS/GCP/Azure, is a significant asset.
