Job Title: Automation Architect Lead
">Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect to lead our automation strategy and roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating enterprise test automation strategies and roadmaps, as well as experience in capacity planning. They will contribute to the design and architecture of automation projects, develop and maintain test automation frameworks, and assist in process improvement efforts.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 15+ years of Test Automation experience with at least 8+ years in the role of Automation Architect
- Experience in creating enterprise Test automation strategy & Road map, Capacity Planning
- Contribute to the design & architecture of automation projects
- Excellent knowledge of Building and creating & maintaining Test Automation Frameworks
- Excellent in Oral, written communication & Documentation Skills
- Assist in on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting is effective and efficient
- Metrics definitions & System level thinking
- Customer Facing Experience is a must
- Should have very strong analytical skills and should be able to see the test automation architecture as a whole system and not as individual components and should be able to drive to benefit from its contents for future usage
- Agile/Lean methodologies experience
- Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices
- Lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools, and templates
- Work with teams on the automation Strategy and the Tool Kit Selection
- Do Code reviews, verify coding standards are being met
- Work with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management
- Able to shadow developers and document the test Plan, test scripts, test scenarios etc
- Hands-on ability to automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure
- Assess the problem statement and arrive at the innovative solutions
- Mentor junior and senior software quality engineers
- Experience in working with Geographically Dispersed Teams
- Knowledge and applicability of AI/ML in automation is added advantage
