Transportation Management Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP professional to join our team as a Transportation Management Consultant.

  • This role involves leveraging expertise in BOPF, FPM, FBI, Web Dynpro, and other technologies to drive business growth and process optimization.
About the Role

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing ABAP programs for SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments, as well as a solid understanding of clean core frameworks and development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Management: Design and develop ABAP programs to manage data across business objects, including handling dependent objects in backend and UI.
  2. Integration: Integrate SAP TM with GTS and EM, and develop enhancements in EM.
  3. API Integration: Work with PI to enhance standard services with additional data and map standard fields to service enhancements.
  4. Technology Expertise: Have hands-on experience with integrating REST and SOAP APIs into TM, and be proficient in ABAP programming.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Must have knowledge of Master Data & CIF, Order Management. Planning (Profile & Optimizer based planning), Load Optimization, Freight Order Management, Booking Order Management, Intermodal and Multimodal scenarios, Carrier Selection & Optimization, Tendering, Freight & Forwarding Settlement, TM Conditions and BRF+.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP eWM, SAP EM, SAP TM, and embedded TM on S/4 HANA.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.
