Job Opportunity: Oracle Apps SCM Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Apps SCM professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2 and R12.1, with experience in installation, upgrades, and migrations. They should also be proficient in database administration, including 11g and 12c, as well as cloning and patching applications and databases.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide status updates and participate in regular meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, Upgrades, and Migrations: Ensure smooth transition of Oracle EBS R12.2 and R12.1 systems, adhering to internal processes and tools.
  • Database Administration: Manage 11g and 12c databases, performing tasks such as database lock, space management, export and import, and performance tuning.
  • Cloning and Patching: Clone and patch applications and databases efficiently, minimizing downtime.
  • User Administration: Handle user responsibilities, ensuring accurate and timely access control.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement robust backup and recovery procedures, utilizing AD utilities and WebLogic administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with concurrent managers & PCP configurations, Unix commands, and scripting languages.
  • Project Management: Self-motivated with strong team orientation and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
