Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulation, with strong knowledge of commercial tools such as ANSYS, Dassault System, Mathwork, and Cadance.

Required Skills:
  • Electronics Basics: Strong understanding of digital/analog/mixed/signal integrity, multi-board simulation, motor simulation, thermal simulation, battery simulation, and antenna simulation.
  • Interface Knowledge: Good understanding of interfaces like DDR2/3/4/5, RS232/422/485, SPI, I2C, NAND/NOR Flash, PCI express, and SERDES.
  • Signal Integrity: Familiarity with signal integrity issues, including effects of packaging, board parasitic, crosstalk, noise, grounding, and shielding.
  • Power Integrity: Understanding of power integrity issues, including IR drop and decoupling analysis.
  • System Level Simulation: Experience in radiated emission simulation, conducted emission simulation, and ESD simulations.
Desirable Skills:
  • Board Thermal Management: Experience in board thermal management and battery simulation.
  • Medical Domain: Prior experience in the medical domain and EMI/EMC physical testing is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  1. Interact with product development teams to understand requirements for SI/PI/EMC/EMI/motor simulation.
  2. Perform SI/PI/EMC/EMI analyses using commercial tools.
  3. Model preparation, pre- and post-layout analysis, and interpretation of results.
  4. Validate analysis results against international standards, experimental results, or analytical solutions.
  5. Develop methods, tools, and procedures to shorten simulation time for complex problems.
  6. Create analysis reports, reference manuals, and lessons learnt documents.
  7. Participate in simulation workshops, forums, training, and conferences.
