Job Overview

Our organization seeks a skilled Risk Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and review of credit risk models in an unsecured lending environment.

  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models to assess and manage credit risk in rural and semi-urban markets.
  • Design and execute comprehensive risk management strategies across the lending lifecycle, including acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, and collections.
  • Analyze portfolio trends, identify early warning signals, and monitor key performance indicators to ensure alignment with established risk parameters.
  • Ensure timely review and update of risk policies to reflect dynamic market conditions and internal risk appetite.
  • Extract insights from industry data, develop management information systems (MIS), and provide regular updates to senior management on changing market dynamics.
  • Conduct regular process reviews to ensure adherence to risk policies and verify the effectiveness of control measures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the risk framework and drive business growth.
Key Requirements
  • Hold a B.Tech or M.Tech degree from a prestigious institution.
  • Possess 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a financial services organization.
  • Be proficient in Python and SQL programming languages, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and the ability to derive valuable insights from data.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of statistical modeling techniques.
  • Experience in microfinance or MSME lending is highly desirable.
