Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Service Manager to lead our team in facilities maintenance. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings.

Your primary role will involve managing a team of technicians, coordinating with external contractors, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the department.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary Qualification: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Contract Administration: Proven experience in contract administration, including tendering and service improvement initiatives.
  • People Management: Excellent people management skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of clients and staff.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices, including local building codes and regulations.
