Seeking a Senior Hyperion Analyst to join our organization. This senior role involves assisting with the development and maintenance of Hyperion application components, including rules, elimination calcs, webforms, member lists, journals, optimization, security for Planning, HFM and Essbase.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and FDM experience, preferably with a U.S. headquartered multi-national company. They will also possess excellent computer skills, especially with MS Excel, and experience with Windows remote desktop, Rundeck automation, and Windows BAT, MaxL, EPMAUTOMATE, and Oracle CLI scripts are highly desirable.

The Senior Hyperion Analyst will work independently with business users, draw relations, and ask relevant questions in an Oracle environment. They will support back-end databases (SQL), SQL query writing for finance teams, manage metadata updates in all Hyperion applications, and provide production support during the budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with Hyperion application components, including rules, elimination calcs, webforms, member lists, journals, optimization, security for Planning, HFM and Essbase
  • Supporting back-end databases (SQL), SQL query writing for finance teams
  • Managing metadata updates in all Hyperion applications
  • Providing production support during the budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting process

The Senior Hyperion Analyst will also be responsible for developing and testing environment and application enhancements, supporting testing in other areas of the EPM suite, and assisting with the accounting and integration for acquisitions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or IT, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to blend accounting knowledge and IT logic to recommend and implement improvements to processes and financial reporting.

To excel in this position, the candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously is also essential.
