Job Description:

As a PCB designer in the medical device industry, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions that enhance healthcare and improve lives. Your expertise in creating high-quality PCB designs will be essential in bringing cutting-edge medical devices to market.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including embedded engineers, manufacturing experts, and regulatory specialists, to ensure seamless hardware-software integration and compliance with medical device safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include designing multi-layer PCBs for medical devices, integrating hardware components, collaborating with manufacturing teams, and ensuring designs meet ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and other relevant guidelines.

Additionally, you will develop and test PCB prototypes, perform hardware debugging and troubleshooting, conduct failure analysis, and optimize system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in PCB design, with exposure to medical device development highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or OrCAD.
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal PCB designs.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, and thermal management in PCB design.
  • Understanding of medical device regulatory standards, including FDA guidelines.
  • Experience with hardware communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong problem-solving attitude.
