Job Description:

As a data scientist, you will play a pivotal role in driving product-level profitability and growing margins using real-time competitive insights. Our cutting-edge technology leverages AI to aggregate and analyze billions of data points across 1,900 retail categories in 34 global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze retail data sets using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
  • Develop predictive models to support business decisions in the retail sector
  • Collaborate with senior data scientists and stakeholders to identify data-driven insights and opportunities
  • Develop and implement data pipelines for data processing and preparation
  • Support the development of reports and dashboards to visualize and communicate data insights

Senior Data Scientist Role:

  • Lead a team of data scientists and collaborate closely with key stakeholders
  • Develop advanced machine learning models and neural networks to solve complex problems in retail and e-commerce sectors
  • Experiment with LLMs (Large Language Models)
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines
  • Mentor junior data scientists
  • Drive deployment of predictive models into production

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Python or C++
  • Deep understanding of BERT, transformers, and other advanced machine learning architectures
  • Expertise in computer vision techniques and applications
  • LLMs understanding and curiosity to explore
  • Extensive retail and e-commerce experience is preferred
  • PhD in related field is preferred
