Key Responsibilities


As a Senior Software Development Manager at Talentiser, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Java and Python programming languages.


Main Accountabilities



  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and Python programming languages.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintain code quality.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance testers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents, code documentation, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure the maintainability of software applications.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to Java, Python, and related middleware & UI technologies.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions.
  • Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with organizational coding standards, architectural guidelines, and security protocols.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in software development.
  • Strong experience in building scalable applications in Python, Flask, Dask, Celery, and PySpark.
  • Understanding and/or basic working experience in front-end technologies - ReactJS.
  • Experience working with API Gateways (NGINX preferred) and AD authentication.
  • Experience in testing frameworks (Junit/Mockito or Selenium/Cucumber).
  • Working experience in Angular.
  • Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases (Postgres, CouchDB preferred) design and queries.
  • Experience working with any messaging system (KAFKA preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud, Kubernetes.
  • Clear understanding of CS Algorithms and design patterns.
  • Good project management skills including planning, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
