We are seeking a skilled design professional to lead our product development efforts as an Architect & Furniture Designer.
- Design and Product Development:
- Create innovative furniture designs that align with our styling vision, considering aesthetics, ergonomics, durability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop detailed product drawings, prototypes, and material boards ready for manufacturing.
- Architectural Integration and Styling:
- Translate architectural and interior concepts into bespoke furniture solutions that meet client needs and spatial flow requirements.
- Support turnkey styling projects with custom furniture recommendations and curated product selection.
- Vendor Collaboration and Product Launch:
- Work closely with vendors, workshops, and material suppliers to bring designs to market.
- Conduct site visits and factory inspections to ensure quality, finishes, and timelines are met.
- Market Relevance and Design Roadmap:
- Identify emerging trends in furniture and interior products and conceptualize scalable SKUs for our private label and collections.
- Lead designs from prototype to retail launch, maintaining consistency in design language and brand ethos.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in furniture design, architecture, and product development.
- Proficiency in design software (SketchUp, Autodesk, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
