  • Data Migration Expert – Contract Role for Data Transformation and Execution.

Job Description

The role of the Data Migration Expert is pivotal in ensuring a seamless execution of data migration activities. This expert will act as a bridge between Global Data Migration Experts and local teams, capturing local requirements accurately in conversion workbooks and delivering them effectively during deployment. Key responsibilities include serving as focal points for assigned data objects, collaborating with business owners and functional experts, driving migration activities, verifying data transformation tools, managing DMW load files, executing DVT scripts, and resolving defects or escalating to GDMEs as needed. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role, along with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in ERP project implementation, with a focus on data migration expertise.
  • Proven track record in executing data migrations across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS and other relevant systems.
  • Strong understanding of GxP and CSV regulations.
  • SAP certification in at least one relevant area.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent English language skills (additional languages an asset).
