Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and reliability of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement SLA, SLO, and SLI metrics for services within the organization.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to provide high-quality services, involving whole process development, production system operation, including system maintenance, monitoring, automation, backend operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Improve system performance and reliability by proposing and implementing automation to increase productivity and quality.
  • Maintain service ownership mindset and proactively react to production issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and tools to improve the entire process of development, testing, and production operations.

Requirements:

  • Must have over 8 years of experience in SRE, handling high-traffic production systems independently, troubleshooting (middleware, infrastructure), automation, regular operation, and implementing Site Reliability Engineering principles regarding performance, reliability, monitoring, and alerting in Production environments.
  • Experience in managing large-scale services, designing and constructing public clouds (e.g., GCP, Azure), preferably GCP.
  • Strong knowledge in CI/CD/CT pipelines using tools like Jenkins/Bamboo and VCS like GIT/SVN.
  • Good understanding of LINUX-based system operation and extensive skills in Linux commands.
  • Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting and automation/configuration management using Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Experience in developing and operating one or more of following systems: Kubernetes, Nginx, ELK stack, Hadoop, etc.
