Quality Assurance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products.

This is a challenging role that requires a detail-obsessed and driven individual who can think critically and solve problems effectively. You will be responsible for developing and executing tests on new features, tools, and game content to ensure they meet exacting standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a global LiveOps team delivering content and features to millions of active players.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Quality and Reliability: Ensure all software is functioning as intended with an exceptional level of detail and accuracy.
  • Develop and Execute Tests: Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases across new and existing game content, tools, and platforms.
  • Document and Track Issues: Document and track issues using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) from discovery through resolution.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and product managers to identify potential quality risks early.
  • Reproduce and Isolate Complex Issues: Reproduce and isolate complex issues to support engineering resolution efforts.
  • Generate QA Documentation: Generate clear and concise QA documentation, reports, and feedback summaries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Professional QA Experience: 5+ years of professional QA experience in games or software testing.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of LiveOps processes, config validations, and content testing.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Proven ability to work independently in night shifts, staying highly responsive and accountable.
  • Detail-Obsessed: High attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies quickly.
  • Hands-on Experience with Tools: Hands-on experience with bug tracking (JIRA) and test management tools (Xray, TestRail, etc.).
  • Strong Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Dev, Config, Product, Art).
