Data Engineering Consultant plays a pivotal role in advancing health outcomes by connecting people with care, pharmacy benefits, data, and resources through the effective use of technology to deliver care on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Administration Expertise: Experience with SQL Server Development, PL/SQL Programming, and Database Administration is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server Tools: Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Profiler, and resolving deadlocks and blocking sessions is crucial for success.
  • Azure Platform Specialist: Experience with MS Azure platform, analyzing execution plans, query tuning, optimization, indexing strategies, and statistics is vital for this position.
  • Query Optimization and Maintenance: Ability to analyze and optimize slow-running queries, identify and resolve sleeping sessions, and perform index maintenance is essential for this role.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for this position.
  • Data Analytics Engineering Expertise: 7 years of overall experience in data analytics engineering is necessary for success.
  • Azure and Data Platforms Expertise: 5 years of experience working with Azure, Databricks, and ADF is essential for this role.
  • PySpark and Spark-SQL Expertise: 5 years of experience working with data platforms or products using PySpark and Spark-SQL is vital for this position.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL is required for this role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
