This is a highly critical position within Barclays, responsible for ensuring the effective governance of model risk. The successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic guidance on the development and implementation of a globally consistent model risk framework.

The role involves collaborating with various teams across the organization to assess the level of compliance with regulatory requirements and identifying areas for improvement.

A key aspect of this position is the management of the Validation Center of Excellence, where independent quality assurance is performed to ensure that validation outcomes are well-supported by IVUs assessment of the model.

Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing regulatory and audit responses and interactions within MRM.
