Job Title

This is a leadership role in the field of fundraising. As Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for implementing an action-oriented annual fundraising plan and establishing a network of relationships to secure revenue for our philanthropic efforts.

  • Create a roadmap and strategy for fundraising with clear short-, medium-, and long-term objectives based on a shared vision of desired outcomes.
  • Develop a national network of diverse supporters strengthening the existing network and adding new champions and donors.
  • Build a diverse portfolio approach to fund raising to ensure effort and target distribution across different kinds of sources.
  • Proactively execute multiple aspects of the plan engaging high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other pertinent entities.
  • Work closely with Foundation Leaders to put in place and in use an effective fund channelization and utilization process along with clear measures to determine net value added in targeted thematic areas.

Skills and Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in business, Social Sciences, or another related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience of having worked in a direct fundraising and partnership role with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Experience with social or development sector organizations would be preferred.
  • A driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries and get things done.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and comfort with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and an executive presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate expertise.
  • Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time-zones.
