Job Summary:
The STP Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wastewater treatment plants, including maintaining and operating STP installed in properties, such as deep well submersible pumps, drain water sump pumps, and recycled water pumps.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the proper functioning of STP installed in properties, including regular maintenance and operation of equipment such as pressure filters, water/sewage softener plants, and ROs.
• Supervise and train subordinate staff to handle STP plant and related activities, including backwashing filters and reactivating softener resins.
• Record and maintain accurate logbooks and log sheets for all activities performed during duty periods, including reporting any issues or losses to the Shift Engineer.
• Maintain a safe and secure working environment, prohibiting unauthorized access to the STP plant room and storage tanks.
Requirements:
• 7 years of experience in maintenance and operation of STP plants, sewage plants, hydro-pneumatic pumps, chemical dosing, and fire-fighting pump systems, including valves control operation and maintenance.
