Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Alignity Solutions. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying and mitigating security risks across our applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Security Assessments: Perform thorough assessments of applications at various stages of the SSDLC to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Static and Dynamic Code Analysis: Utilize security tools like SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, and Burp Suite to assess the security posture of applications.
  • Penetration Testing: Simulate real-world attacks to identify vulnerabilities and determine their exploitability.
  • Threat Modeling: Lead exercises to proactively identify potential threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work with Development Teams: Collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and product managers to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Offer expert advice on secure coding practices, threat mitigation, and security controls during design, development, and testing phases.
  • Communicate Complex Security Issues: Clearly convey complex security issues and risk analysis results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Security Assessment Reports: Produce detailed reports documenting findings, risk levels, and actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Comprehensive Documentation: Maintain documentation on security assessment processes, tools, and methodologies for consistency and repeatability.
  • Vulnerability Management: Track and manage vulnerability status, ensuring timely updates to key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: Possess experience in application security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong Understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the SSDLC and how to integrate security throughout the process.
  • Proficiency in Tools: Be proficient in using security tools such as SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, and Burp Suite.
  • Penetration Testing: Have hands-on experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools.
  • Threat Modeling: Be familiar with threat modeling techniques and frameworks.
  • Application Security Risks: Understand common application security risks and mitigation techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to explain technical security risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Salary:

Our estimated salary range for this position is approximately $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of Hyderabad.

This figure is an estimate and may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
