Job Title: Senior Hardware Design Lead

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hardware design professional to take on a leadership role within our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex hardware systems, including PCBs, ECU embedded electronics, and mechanical interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements and is on schedule.
  • Participate in schematic and layout design reviews, and provide input on design improvements.
  • Work closely with the product development team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hardware design, and apply this knowledge to improve existing designs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of design decisions, and create user manuals for hardware systems.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent program.
  • 6-9 years of experience in industrial or automotive area with expertise in Altium tools.
  • Excellent understanding of system/component design, EE architecture topologies, and safety.
  • Familiarity with vehicle bus communication protocols (ETH/CAN FD/LIN/LVDS) and troubleshooting tools.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC design, test, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with thermal management for ECU embedded electronics.
  • Ability to support/handle multiple expertise domains.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading project-based initiatives.
  • Expertise in Altium Schematic Capture, Altium PCB Layout review, High complex multilayer layout design, and PCB layer stack-up design.
