Job Description
AV Systems Designer Role

As a CAD Draughtsman for AV projects, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed CAD drawings and schematics that meet project requirements. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to develop clear and functional designs for AV systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all technical drawings are in line with client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop: Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for AV systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and elevations.
  • Collaborate with Project Teams: Work closely with project engineers and managers to understand project requirements and design criteria.
  • Develop AV System Schematics: Create AV system schematics, including audio, video, lighting, and control systems based on provided instructions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines.
  • Design Revision: Revise and update designs based on feedback from engineers, project managers, and clients.
  • Organize CAD Resources: Maintain and organize CAD libraries, templates, and blocks for efficient reuse.
  • Integration and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of AV designs with electrical, architectural, and other agencies. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to CAD drawings during the installation phase.
  • Technical Advancement: Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software, tools, and technologies relevant to AV design.


Requirements
Key Qualifications:

Experience: 2 Years of Experience in CAD. Freshers can also apply if they have good communication and technical skills.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with Sketch-up, 3D Max, and BIM (Building Information Modelling) is a plus.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to create highly accurate technical drawings.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with clients.

Job Type: Work-from-Office/ Mild-Hybrid.

Working Days: 06 Days a week, out of which any one day can be work from home.
