Data Engineer Role Overview

At a leading data-driven organization, we are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Apache Ray to play a pivotal role in our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deep understanding of Distributed Computing Frameworks
  2. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot all aspects of our production and non-production environments.
  3. Automate deployment and orchestration of services into cloud environments as well as other routine processes.
  4. Work on multiple cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
  5. Participate actively in capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises.
  6. Interact with and support partner teams, including Engineering, QA, and program management.

  8. Design and implement RESTful/RPC APIs and services using Go or Python.
  9. Implement Service Level Objectives/Service Level Indicators, error budget reporting for various customers.
