Job Title: Housing Analyst

 

Overview of Affordable Housing:

Affordable housing refers to rental and ownership housing units that are affordable to families and households at income levels lower than the area's median income. It requires funding from public and private sources, including banks and other lenders.

Our Team's Role:

We monitor funding availability announcements and prepare applications to request funds for acquisition of land, construction of housing, and related costs.

 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and structure affordable housing deals

• Prepare MS Excel-based funding applications

• Develop support documentation in MS Word and Adobe PDF

• Monitor and track documents and checklists

• Research new funding opportunities and expansion possibilities

• Support development finance processes

 

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Real Estate, Underwriting, Financial Modelling, or Financial Research

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF

 

Work Environment:

The analyst will work remotely as part of a team and be expected to be available from 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM midnight.
