Job Summary:

A senior back-end software developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable systems that support maritime operations platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of services with applications, databases, and other core systems.

This role requires a strong programming foundation in Python, including debugging and performance analysis. Experience developing web applications APIs using frameworks such as Django and Flask is essential. Additionally, expertise in secure software development handling sensitive data is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to scalable, efficient software architecture.
  • Take full ownership of product lifecycle from conceptualization through development and deployment.
  • Implement test-driven development practices, writing comprehensive unit tests for high-quality code.
  • Build reusable, modular code and libraries for efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, speed, scalability.
  • Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for systems processes related to products owned.
Required Skills Qualifications:
  • Strong programming foundation in Python including debugging performance analysis.
  • Experience developing web applications APIs (REST XML) frameworks Django Flask.
  • Considerable expertise on secure software development handling sensitive data.
  • Well-established experience in all phases of development requirement gathering system design implementation testing deployment maintenance enterprise-wide application systems.
  • In-depth knowledge Source Code Repository experience working with Git.
  • Hands on experience DB design Architecture focus on performance.
  • Knowledge caching techniques utilities Memcache Redis.
  • Experience working Apache Nginx web/app server.
  • Experience containerization tool Docker.
  • Hands on experience enterprise level deployment scaling.
  • Strong analytical critical thinking skills solving complex problems making informed decisions.
  • Experience writing reusable code libraries improving efficiency consistency multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's master's degree computer science Information Technology related field equivalent practical experience.
