About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python engineer to join our QA team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand application features and create robust, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
  • Perform API testing and validate backend services using Python-based tools.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6–12 years of total experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Python.
  • Strong understanding of QA processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
  • Solid experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Requests library, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, and Agile processes. They will be able to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python. Additionally, they will be able to collaborate with development and product teams to understand application features and create robust, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
