Cloud Security Specialist Job Description

This is a role that involves implementing and managing DevSecOps practices across multiple cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage DevSecOps practices to ensure compliance with cloud security best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.
  • Define and implement IAM guardrails and access management best practices to ensure secure access to cloud resources.
  • Support security and compliance requirements by leveraging tools like Wiz and Remote PC to monitor and analyze cloud security posture.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to enforce cloud security posture management and ensure smooth integration of DevSecOps processes into the ecosystem.
  • Monitor, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities within cloud environments to ensure continuous improvement of cloud security posture.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members to promote shared understanding of cloud security best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud Security best practices and security controls.
  • Experience managing systems and security in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM guardrails with practical experience in implementation.
  • Familiarity with Wiz (cloud security posture management).
  • Experience working with Remote PC setups in enterprise environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
