Technical Payment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Stripe Developer to lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of our payment platform. This role combines engineering expertise with administrative ownership.
The ideal candidate has successfully delivered a full Stripe implementation and can act as the subject-matter expert for all payment-related systems and operations.
This hybrid role requires collaboration with both technical and business teams, and the ability to troubleshoot technical and business process issues end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the end-to-end implementation of Stripe modules (Payments, Billing, Connect, Subscriptions).
- Configure workflows for invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds.
- Manage Stripe accounts, user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems.
- Proven experience as a Stripe Developer/Engineer, including leading at least one Stripe implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Stripe APIs, webhooks, and modules.
- Experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of payment process flows, reconciliation, and dispute management.
- Backend development experience (Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or subscription-based models.
- Familiarity with finance/accounting systems (e.g. QuickBooks) and data tools (e.g. SQL).
