Job Title: Backend Lead NodeJs

At ConsultBae India Private Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Backend Lead NodeJs to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable server-side applications using Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Design and manage cloud-based services using AWS and Serverless architecture.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices ensuring the security of applications and data protection.
  • Design and manage database structures using technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Write and maintain test cases to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high quality and performance.
  • Work in an agile environment contributing to sprints, standups, and other project-related activities.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Required Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (JS) and Node.js.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Serverless architecture and frameworks.
  • Experience with writing and maintaining test cases (unit, integration, etc.).
  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining security measures and ensuring application security.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (such as HTML5, CSS3, and React.js).
  • Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in developing scalable, secure, and robust backend applications using Node.js and AWS.
