Job Opportunity:

As a key player in this ecosystem, we are on the hunt for an accomplished Principal Software Engineer to join our ranks and lead one of our Cloud platform teams.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience as a software developer with exposure to various elements of our back-end technology stack. This individual will be responsible for leading user story refinement meetings to ensure that stories are thoroughly understood and decomposed, designing complex features as required, developing and maintaining all aspects of software developed by the Informatics Department, and collaborating with stakeholders on software and technical issues.

  • Lead User Story refinement meetings to ensure stories are understood and decomposed adequately
  • Design complex features as required
  • Develop and maintain all aspects of software developed by the Informatics Department
  • Provide code and supporting documentation in accordance with the Software Development Processes and codes of practice
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on software and technical issues
  • Act as technical expert for coding, process, and best practices

Responsibilities also include collaborating across teams to improve working practices and skill levels, carrying out all responsibilities in accordance with the Quality Policy, and applying software engineering practices such as unit testing, TDD, CI/CD, SOLID, BDD, etc.
