Aircraft Design and Prototype Specialist

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Design and Prototype Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or mathematics, with 3-8 years of experience in designing and prototyping fixed wing/hybrid aircrafts.

You will be responsible for designing and assembling control panels, propulsion systems, guiding systems, and other necessary parts and systems.

In addition, you will carry out design of experiments for different aircraft models, analyze flight logs, and modify the next design for necessary improvements.

You will also develop safety and quality standards, conduct trade studies, work on multi-disciplinary optimization, perform load calculations, and estimate aircraft performance, dynamic stability, and aerodynamics.

Furthermore, you will integrate custom payloads, including both mechanical and electrical integrations, and write design proposals, reports, manuals, and other technical documents.

This role requires close collaboration with production, research, testing, and other departments to optimize safety and efficiency.

Rapid prototyping using various methods, such as 3D printing and foam core glass fiber manufacturing, is also required.
