About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the position of Converged Infrastructure Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in managing converged infrastructure, with expertise in SAN infrastructure and converged platforms.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of high system uptime and performance through proactive monitoring and analysis of storage/RecoverPoint/UCS/vCenter metrics.
- Troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues from Level 2 teams and clients in a timely manner.
- Collaboration with OEMs for hardware replacement, advanced troubleshooting, and code upgrades.
- Day-to-day operations, including BMC ticket closure within Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and coordination with multiple teams' stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Planning and recommending infrastructure modifications or additional equipment to increase system capacities.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong technical knowledge of converged infrastructure, SAN infrastructure, and converged platforms.
- Experience with storage/RecoverPoint/UCS/vCenter monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
