Job Title: Data Engineering Leader

As a data engineering leader, you will drive the design and implementation of large-scale data engineering solutions.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products
  • Develop strategic relationships with architects, product managers, and operations teams
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Scala and Python
  • Develop Apache Spark (batch & streaming) applications for real-time data processing
  • Migrate data from traditional storage systems to cloud-based platforms
  • Implement schema evolution, ACID transactions, and time travel using Apache Iceberg or similar table formats
  • Run Spark and/or Flink jobs on Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience with distributed blob storages like Ceph or AWS S3
  • Build ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines for large-scale datasets
  • Provision data infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm)

Strong communication skills are essential for this role. You must be able to effectively communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
