Data Engineering RoleDevelop and maintain large-scale data systems using a combination of software engineering principles and data warehousing concepts.

This is an opportunity to leverage your technical skills in designing, building, and operating complex data pipelines that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

  • We seek an experienced Data Engineer to join our team who can design and develop data architectures using industry-standard tools such as AWS Lambda, Amazon Glue, and Apache Airflow.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including experience with Snowflake, and strong proficiency in SQL scripting and Python programming.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and developing data pipelines to ingest data from various sources into our data warehouse using ETL/ELT tools.
  2. Implementing and maintaining robust data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of all delivered datasets and reports.
  3. Working closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience with cloud services.

The role involves working on a variety of projects simultaneously and requires strong organizational and time management skills.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL scripting and Python programming.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, DMS, and Glue.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, with practical experience using Snowflake.
