Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to oversee the management of critical cloud infrastructure for our global customer base.

This role entails providing 24x7 managed support for these cloud environments, leading a team, and ensuring exceptional customer service level agreements.

You will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams, offering input and suggestions to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with partners to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Ensure customer SLAs are consistently met.
  • Resolve issues holistically, focusing on comprehensive problem-solving.
  • Review tickets and escalate to management as necessary.
  • Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise when required.
  • Act as L3 in case of escalations, resolving issues with hands-on approach.
  • Interact with customers through tickets, calls, emails, and regular sync-up calls.
  • Evaluate team members' performance periodically and provide feedback to the team and HR.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of providing L3 technical support in a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization (10+ years).
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and supporting technologies and concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technology.
  • Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine).
  • Good working knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backup, Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Proven experience leading a team of at least 4 people in this role.
