Job Title: General Accounts

At Sarvajith Infotech, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Accounts professional to join our team.

Job Summary:

The General Accounts position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing essential financial information to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with audits, financial reviews, and other financial projects as needed.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and credit management.
  • Conduct data analysis to support financial decision-making and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Provide support for financial forecasting and planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial data.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including MS Excel, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Knowledge of financial best practices and principles.
