Senior Software Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled software developer to design, implement, and deliver solutions for our product using Ruby on Rails.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features within the product according to defined requirements within agreed timeframes.
  • Evaluate code performance to meet SaaS product standards.
  • Create front-end software using React/Javascript based on visual designs provided by the UX team.
  • Implement corresponding backend model software using Ruby on Rails.
  • Maintain existing applications including fast resolution of customer-raised issues.
  • Write unit tests to ensure high-quality Ruby on Rails code within our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand user needs and provide best customer solutions.
  • Estimate, plan, and manage tasks as a developer within an Agile team.
  • Document processes and software changes when necessary.
  • Protect confidential data and adhere to information security protocols.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing software solutions using Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong understanding of React/Javascript development and its application in front-end software creation.
  • Familiarity with unit testing principles and practices to ensure high-quality code.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to estimate, plan, and manage tasks efficiently within an Agile environment.
