Integration Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Integration Engineer and join our Order Gateway team.

About the Role:

  • This position involves taking ownership of order entry and drop copy integration projects from inception to delivery.
  • Collaboration with internal teams, exchanges, and external vendors is essential for gathering requirements and implementing seamless integrations.
  • The successful candidate will drive system migrations, platform upgrades, and technology transitions.
  • Ongoing optimization of workflows, removal of bottlenecks, and improvement of operational efficiency are also key responsibilities.
  • Involvement in production support, release management, and ensuring system reliability is a must.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in systems integration, ideally with exposure to exchange connectivity.
  • A strong understanding of trade lifecycle and experience with FIX protocol are essential.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments is required.
  • Experience with C++ or Python is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and asset classes is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in hedge funds or investment banks is preferred.
