Drupal Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drupal Developer to fill a senior developer position at our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create custom themes using Twig, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, and develop, debug, and optimize custom modules and site functionality.
  • Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and external services such as CRM and analytics.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and content strategists.
  • Performance and Security: Ensure high performance, accessibility (WCAG), and security standards.
  • Tools and Technologies: Utilize tools such as Composer, Drush, Git, and debugging consoles for workflow optimization.
  • Mentorship: Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
  • Upgrades and Maintenance: Support upgrades, migrations, and ongoing maintenance between Drupal versions.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of professional development experience with Drupal (preferably versions 8/9/10).
  • Proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Experience in custom Drupal module and theme development.
  • Strong knowledge of Drupal APIs, hooks, and configuration management.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience using version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with Composer, Drush, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP/GraphQL).
  • Good problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently.
