Chemistry Instructor Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Chemistry Instructor to join our faculty. As a Chemistry Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching chemistry courses to students and developing curriculum-aligned lesson plans.

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to ensure students achieve the required learning outcomes.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, prioritizing student understanding and achievement.
  • Safeguard the well-being of students during experiments and supervise them to ensure they conduct themselves responsibly.
  • Evaluate student performance using assessments that are fair and equitable.
  • Provide support and resources to students, including consultation times and access to relevant materials.
  • Mentor and guide student teachers in their professional development, helping them to grow and improve as educators.
  • Promote science education by participating in staff and parent meetings, workshops, and continuing education programs.
  • Organize and facilitate science fairs and expos, preparing students for presentations and displays.
  • Manage administrative tasks, such as updating student records and maintaining laboratory supplies.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
