Corporate Counsel Job Opportunity

The Corporate Counsel is a critical role within the Legal Department, responsible for providing strategic legal and compliance solutions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide guidance on policy development, including reviewing and drafting policies, guidelines, and SOPs related to regulatory compliance.
  • Offer expertise on data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention best practices.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance and risk management initiatives, including advising on disclosure requirements and collaborating with external vendors.
  • Advise on immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA regions, including review of policy/guidance documents.

The ideal candidate will have 8-14 years of experience as a compliance counsel in an MNC, with a strong knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility. They will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.

As a key member of the team, the Corporate Counsel will play a vital role in shaping the company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy, cyber security, immigration, and mobility.
