Job Opportunity: Mobile Application Testing Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our mobile application testing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile application testing, including debugging with Charles Proxy and ADB commands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of quality assurance engineers ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
  • Perform mobile application testing (Android & iOS) with expertise in Charles Proxy, ADB commands, and debugging tools.
  • Establish and optimize quality assurance processes, test strategies, and best practices for mobile app testing.
  • Actively participate in bug triage and effectively defend bugs with developers when issues are valid.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, and quality assurance reports, ensuring thorough coverage and high-quality releases.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance processes, automation strategy (if applicable), and team efficiency.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting for defects, test results, and process compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7-9 years of total experience with at least 2-3 years as a Test Lead/Team Lead.
  • Strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing (manual and debugging).
  • Proficiency in Charles Proxy, ADB commands, and mobile debugging tools.
  • Experience in establishing quality assurance processes and strategies for mobile application testing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and release cycles.
  • Excellent skills in defect triage, bug reporting, and defending bugs with developers.
  • Experience managing a team of quality assurance engineers, with proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in banking domain applications (lending, loans).
