The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, debugging, and running automated and manual software-based tests in a Linux environment using shell tools and scripts. Responsibilities include designing and developing both automated and manual test cases, triaging test failures, contributing to QA reports, and providing input on release metrics.
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent time management skills, able to prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Parallel File Systems, particularly Lustre, is highly preferred. Experience with git, JIRA, Jenkins, and gerrit is also desired.
About the Role- Design and develop test cases to validate product features
- Triage test failures on a daily basis
- Contribute to QA reports and provide input on release metrics
- Work with distributed teams to understand product requirements and features
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree/experience
- 3+ years of component and system-level test experience
- Experience working in Linux environments with Python languages
- Knowledge of storage systems troubleshooting and integration
- Excellent time management skills
